I was reading this after doing some sketch booking, like your idea of finding small scraps of paper, I divide a page into 4 parts and treat each part like a playground. This feels less daunting than a whole page waiting to be filled, and it really feels like a fun generative process.

I make little marks with chalk on the concrete by park benches, which tend to end up resembling the footprints of small creatures yet to be invented.

Thank you, I needed to hear this.........it's rather easy to stop doing something, then you feel lost, and then it's hard to find your way back
